On October 4, 2026, Held & Rooted hosted In Good Company, our first fundraising celebration. The event brought together our community, Board of Directors, local leaders, sponsors, and supporters to celebrate the work already underway and invest in what comes next.

In Good Company reflected one of the principles at the heart of Held & Rooted: strong communities are built when people choose to invest in one another. Together, our community raised more than $10,000 through sponsorships, ticket sales, and individual giving—an important early demonstration of local support for our mission and the infrastructure we are building for mothers raising Black children.

We are deeply grateful to every individual, business, and community partner who chose to stand with us. Their investment is helping Held & Rooted move from a strong local community into a sustainable organization positioned for regional growth.
